Beautiful pictures. Our entire lawn and driveway was covered w/golden Aspen leaves. This Fall was magnificent!
I hope that you are well. Yesterday was my Mother’s birthday: 11-11-11—If she lived, she would have been 112 yrs. old. She died on Dec. 19, 1990; my Dad on 8-31-1991.
What year did Elsie pass?
I hope you are healthy. The world is in a dangerous and frightening place right now. If Trump was in power, I doubt we would have had the Iranian situation or the Chinese one. He still leads in the polls.
Russ is making 300 phone calls a day and traveling throughout this district which is huge. He is finding it difficult to raise funds. The GOP does nothing until you are actually the Primary Candidate and that won’t be until June 6th. She has two opponents—one is Lauren Boebert (Beetlejuice incident) who has been very friendly towards Russ when they are at the same function. Russ will win in any debate if they ever have one.

Great to hear from you. I knew the date your Dad died..I always have a roast in his memory. Will add Noni to my list.
Elsie’s birthday was 9/3/13..she died 10 days after her birthday 9/13/88…my Dad also died 10 days after his birthday (9/20/10 – 9/30/68) … isn’t life strange and beautiful…
Good luck to Russ…agree with what you wrote re Trump…
Beautiful time of the year…enjoy…lots of love and hugs …Eileen

My Mother’s birthday is unusual: 11-11-11. Your Dad died too young! So very sad. I know your Mother loved him until the end. I always had fun with your Dad whenever we would pop over to “The Heights” to have dinner w/ Mom & Pop. I remember the delicious smell of lamb wafting through the air when we arrived! I would instantly run up the stairs to see “Oodie”. How long did you live there and what school(s) did you attend?
Awful when is going on in the world today.

Aren’t memories fabulous…yes, Elsie had no one else…not did my Dad..I remember being at Long Beach Island with your parents and Elsie…we had dinner at a piano bar..walked on the beach..Elsie and Noni were ahead of us and your Dad said that Elsie was always so real…he wondered why she had not remarried…I explained she never loved anyone else ..this was probably late 70s or early 80s…
Lots of love and hugs

Roy and I got married on Nov. 14, 1987th (tomorrow—36 years ago, but together 38+). I know that you flew in for the wedding and Elsie was there. We went to the beach after that. I was in the midst of building our huge white home on the beach so we stayed in the other house I owned one house back from the beach. Doe this ring a bell?
